Baltic Birch plywood is a high-quality panel product with a core unlike traditional plywood. The inner plies are 1.1 to 1.5 mm-thick solid birch veneer, cross-banded, and laminated with interior/exterior grade adhesive. Virtually void free and manufactured with uniformly thick veneer wood, Baltic Birch’s multi-ply construction offers aesthetically pleasing faces and edges. Panels are tremendously stable, strong, and have exceptional machining properties.

BALTIC BIRCH GRADING

BB/BB

BB/BB:  All of our regular stock is BB/BB.which has two clean faces, front and back.  But is does allow some patches in both faces. The inner core is consisting of a solid one piece of veneer.

B/BB

B/BB:  Has one clean face with no patches The front surface is clearer with a lighter tone of color, while the back contains some patches and stains, but not always available.

BB/CP

BB/CP:  Has one clean face wiht some patches. The front BB veneer is over the CP grade veneer. The CP back veneer has knots but no patches.  Open imperfections are not allowed.
